I am a 42-year-old lady who lives in Beccles. Following an illness that left me disabled about 20 years ago, I am unable to sit without support and I can’t stand or walk at all.  I also have limited use of my right arm and hand.  Additionally, I have mental health problems, but all of these things do not stop me enjoying my life and having the continued hope of some improvement.

Due to my disability, I use a catheter and wear pads. I get about independently using my electric wheelchair; however, I do need to be hoisted for all transfers (which you will be trained to do).

I love animals, my pets and going out on the train. My carers and I are really into gardening at the moment. I have various pets which add a lot of interest and companionship to my life.
